Unlike other video games and video game systems on the market the Nintendo Wii has brought along a revolution in the video gaming industry and is making parents everywhere reconsider allowing their children to play with video games. The Nintendo Wii game "Wii Sports" that is bundled with the Wii console system is the very reason for this revolution in gaming. The Wii Sports video game allows 1-4 players to take part in individual games. The Wii Sports game consists of multiple games: Tennis, Baseball, Golf, Bowling and Boxing. Each of these games incorporate physical activity in to the game, for example swinging the remote control as a tennis racket

or using the Wii remote as a bowling ball. This game allows the players to characterize their own character in the main menu so that children can play with characters that resemble themselves. People of all ages can play Wii Sports and the learning curve is actually pretty short and after a game or two even the youngest of the family can become a pro! The physical exercise that is involved in the Wii Sports game is amazing and with kids jumping and moving around as much as they do with this game it encourages an active versus a sedentary lifestyle. The Wii consoles are in short supply; however, one can be found reasonably quickly by keeping an eye on Amazon.com and ToysRUs.com daily as each seem to get some in stock daily or at least every couple of days. For the price this console as well as the Wii Sports game which is bundled with it is well worth the money and far more beneficial than any other gaming system on the market. |

Nintendo Wii rocks! My dh was waiting for this to come out since it was the “Nintendo Revolution.” The night before it launched he wanted to spend the night in front of Target to camp out to buy it the next morning when it came out. I thought he was crazy but we let our daughter spend the night at Grandma’s and went.
I had to walk a few blocks to Dennys to use the bathroom like at 3 in the morning, ended up getting engorged that night too being away from dd for so long that I had to manually express milk in the car under a blanket, and froze my butt off so bad.
I thought that had to have been the worst thing I’ve ever agreed to do, but looking back it was totally worth it. Especially because even now they are still pretty hard to find in stock and who knows how long it would have taken us to get one. It’s so much fun and I can work up quite a sweat playing Wii Sports. Not to mention I’ll play a lot sometimes and wake up sore the next morning! Even my two year old likes to swing the remote around and play baseball!
I want one of these so bad. I am going to wait till my son is a little older and can enjoy it as much as I will!
