The Thomas the Tank Bed Topper by PlayHut is just one of a few designs of "bed topper" they produce. The idea behind the bed topper is to make bed a fun place to be which essentially aids in the transition from a daybed or a crib to a "big boy" or "big girl" bed. The bed topper is recommended for children from 3yrs to 7yrs. The bed topper fits atop any standard twin sized bed and makes it in to a playhouse as well as a snuggly hideaway at bedtime which provides the security many children miss when they are moved from a crib to a "big bed." The bed topper slides between the mattress and box spring of the bed pretty easily and features easy to lift side

flaps so accessing storage under the bed isn’t a problem at all. The bed topper measures 78" L x 60" W x 40" H and is made of light yet durable polyester. The bed topper also features window flaps and storage pockets to keep books and other bedtime bits and pieces in. Most parents who have reviewed this product claim that it has really aided in the transition to a big bed, as well as aided children who just can’t stand bedtime. The Thomas the Tank Bed Topper from PlayHut is just one of the designs of bed topper that is carried over at Amazon.com. The bed topper can also be purchased in the following designs: Disney Tinker Bell, Thomas The Tank and Friends, Cinderella Carriage, Spider-Man, Cars Mega Garage, and the Cars Hideout. |

AWesome invention! My son would love this and its much better than buying one of the expensive Thomas beds when your child will probably change his mind in about a month! LOL!

That is so cool! My son would love that. I might have to get him one when we get him his big boy bed.

Wow! This is one of those super cool items our kids dream of. Remember the first time WE saw the race car bed on silver spoons?! Of course, it’s a completely unnecessary item, but coolness knows no ‘need’.

We’ve been having a hard time getting our toddler to sleep in her bed. Who am I kidding, since we bought the darned thing in October, she’s slept in it twice! She’s going through a “cars” phase right now and can spot Lightning McQueen from a mile away. Okay, maybe not a mile away, but she was able to spot the Cars toothbrushes high up on the shelf at Target today- and then hung onto it the entire time we walked around the store and refused to let us put it back. We ended up buying it, but hey, it encourages good dental hygine, right? I’m thinking maybe if I got her the bed topper, she’d finally like sleeping in her bed. Maybe I should get her some cars sheets too? This product has really inspired me!

I need thismy little guy loves Thomas & maybe just maybe bedtime would not be a huge fight. And I love that it is not the entire bed, I hate to spend hundreds on a “charecter” item” plusthis can be taken down it looks like easily
Very cool!
