amigurumi squirrel girl doll

There really is something so heart warming to handmade toys, not to mention something reassuring in knowing where the toy was made and what it was made from. Today’s toy is another ETSY product and an absolutely adorable one at that. Little amigurumi squirrel girl doll is a handmade crochet doll wearing a gorgeous fushia dress and a matching bow in her hair. The dress on this cute little squirrel has scalloped edges and puffed sleeves giving her that extra girly look and her little white underwear peeks out from under the dress. This doll is made from acrylic wool and her hair bow is made from satin ribbon but can be removed if you like. Squirrel’s

cheeks are made from felt giving her a rosy cheeked look and a little extra personality. Squirrel measures 14" tall without her ears and her eyes are black safety eyes; however, keep in mind that these toys are not recommended for children under the age of three years though, they are not, in the words of squirrel’s maker "baby safe. They are however made sturdy". If you don’t have a girly girl they take a look around at Rosie’s online store and you’ll find a ton of other varieties of croched critters!

Squirrel is a handmade stuffed toy from Rosie at Rosie’s Bears and Bitty Critters over at ETSY.com so you won’t find these little ones anywhere else but there! They are all priced very fairly though.

Noreen, I do believe she sells patterns to her toys on her ETSY site so you could give it a shot!

This is adorable. I wish I could crochet…I will learn. I’ve always wanted to.

Well, I guess since I have 3 boys and no daughters, it’s not my kind of toy.

I love that croched look, I wouldn’t get one for my little guy but I wonder what other cute animals they have that he’d like?
