Puzzles are an amazing way to increase your young childs dexterity and hand eye coordination as well as to provide them with visual and mental stimulation. While all of the above are important factors to all families, faith is also an important factor to many other families which is what prompted me to feature today’s toy, the set of four wooden Judaica Holiday Puzzles and Rack to store them in. While this set of puzzles is identified more with families of the Jewish faith they are also great ways to allow your child playtime while exposing them to faiths and beliefs other than their own. the Passover puzzle and the Rosh Hashana puzzle. Each of the puzzlesfeature items specific to each celebration as individual pieces of the puzzle which can easily be lifted to and from the puzzle base by the attached pegs on each piece! This set of puzzles also features a wooden holding rack to keep all four puzzles in one safe place and the rack itself is also adorned with decorative Judaica motifs. Each puzzle measures 12" x 8" x 5" and is recommended for children ages 3 yrs +. The thing I love about these puzzles more than anything is the exposure to different beliefs, not being of the Judaic faith myself I find that these puzzles prompt research and discovery in to other belief systems than my own which in turn leads to broadening of minds in both children and parents alike. These puzzles are carried in many online retail stores; however, I have yet to find them in local stores but this could simply be because they are more of a holiday themed item.
