Cranium

I love reviewing games because studies have shown that families that play games together have happier home lives as well as more open lines of communication. Today’s game is Cranium, one of my personal favorites. Cranium is one game with 14 different activities included so that there is something for everyone in the family. Cranium is recommended for children 13yrs and over though so it is definitely not a game for those of you with younger children. The reason that Cranium is recommended for older children is because it takes a lot of thinking and interactivity that yuonger children are not yet able to take part in. Cranium is a team game

which involves one individual in the team taking their turn at acting out, drawing, humming, sculpting from clay, the clue that is on their clue card. The Cranium game comes with the game board, 600 Carnium cards including many different subjects, a ten sided Cranium dice, a tub of Cranium clay, a timer, drawing pads, pencils and four Cranium pieces. Cranium was named the 2001 toy of the year by the Toy Industry Association so it’s definitely not a new game but I have to say that it’s one of the best games i’ve played in my time!

Cranium is one of those games like Monopoly that you can find in just about any retail store anywhere, but as always if you can’t find it you can pick up a game from Amazon.com!
