Inflatable Labeling Globe

In Keeping with the up coming Earth Day trend today’s toy is the Inflatable Labeling Globe from Learning Resources. The Inflatable Labeling Globe caught my eye, not only because it’s cheap, but also because it’s a great learning aid for children and adults of all ages. The Inflatable Labeling Globe is 27" in diameter and has the continents and lines of latitude and longitude printed on it, country names etc are left off so that everyone can have a turn at finding and labeling their own country! Not only can countries be labelled but this globe can also have continents labelled, oceans, trade routes, landmarks, cities and tons more! All of the above can be written on

the globe with a dry erase marker and erased again for next time to encourage learning through memorization. The Inflatable Labeling Globe also comes with a hang tab and string for hanging the globe for easier teaching use. The globe also features a repair kit just in case things get a little out of hand and the globe gets pierced somehow.

The Inflatable Labeling Globe is a product of the Learning Resources company; however, I have yet to see any of the Learning Resources products in my local mega toy stores so I spotted this one over at Amazon.com!

Great idea. Even my husband would love this as he is very good at geography and anything to do with maps!

I LOVE globes!! I think this is my favorite thing I’ve seen you post. Great, great find – thanks!!

Also, remember the big sis doll you wrote about a couple weeks ago? I was thinking there must be a growing market of items to help with that transition for the older child (as I’ve heard about this dilemma over and over from friends)… well, I just saw this post on another blog today, and thought you might be interested! Seemed like a fun book.

This is a great product to help with geography homework. I know as a child I struggled a bit with this.
