$$$$ Holiday Extravaganza Contest $$$$

by admin on November 18, 2008 in Contests

To celebrate Kidazy.com’s official second holiday season and to celebrate the incredible growth of our community since last Christmas I have decided to offer a Holiday Extravaganza contest like nothing I have ever run before! The prize? A $500 E-mailed gift certificate to Amazon.com! Don’t worry the E-mailed gift certificates are almost immediately received and Amazon offers holiday shipping that is guaranteed to get to you by Christmas! All you have to do to have a chance at winning is to leave a comment on this post between now and December 13th telling me what you would buy with your $500 Amazon gift certificate if you won! One winner will be drawn at random on December 14th!

EDIT: Because of the sheer amount of entries to this contest and the so many heartbreaking stories I have read, I have decided to add an extra something to the pot. For the duration of this contest my top advertising spaces (see the top right column) are selling for $5 per day per spot, all revenue generated from these spots will be donated to another winner (drawn at random) in hopes of bringing another family a holiday season that they deserve. This one is entirely up to you guys to generate a large enough pot to give a family a Holiday season and as long as you comment on this post you are entered in to the running as well, so why not give $5 for a chance at winning the whole pot?

I would use it to buy my family the Christmas presents that I can’t afford this year! The rest I would use to help me move in January.

That is a large amount of money. I would probably put most of it towards hubbys college textbooks! Or maybe put it towards the laptop he wants. Thanks so much for the chance.

I’d LOVE to spend this money on some toys for my 2 girls, and an HDTV for my husband. or maybe a Nikon d40 that i’ve really been wanting.

I think I’d purchase a laptop. My job requires a computer and sharing a computer with someone else who’s job also requires the same computer is difficult.

i’d buy a nail gun, because i seriously need one, i do all my nailing by hand and that can’t be good for my arthritis :{

some fun stuff too, like a new mp3 player, i think my old one is about to die.

And a record player for my mama so she can play all her old records.

I would love to get a Kindell. I am a single mom of six kids, and with something like this I could load kids books in here, and help my children start off their schooling with an even better chance. However, I would have to say that I could also use it for necessities around the house, things to make my kids more comfortable throughout the year.

Thank you for this chance, whoever wins will have an amazing gift to try and figure out what they want/need. It’s hard this holiday season all the way around and everyone could use the funds.

I would buy lots of things, an animal puzzle, a coffee maker, indoor grill, textbooks and desk chair.

for three years I have BEGGED for a laptop. and now that I spend a good amount of the day working online I need a laptop. My PC is about to die, I think I ahve maybe a few months left. Sadly we don’t ahve the money to buy one. this gift card would be the biggest gift I would ever receive.
