Jumbo Go Go Go

The Jumbo Go Go Go is one of the most adorable early childhood toys that I have ever had the fortune to run across. The Jumbo Go Go Go is recommended for children ages 5 mths - 3 yrs and weighs 6lbs. This adorable big red plush car is a great place for your little one to sit and watch their favorite tv shows as well as just a great place to stay busy while mom and dad get a little quiet time! This adorable plush car is brightly colored with red, purple, yellow and green dotted fabrics to keep your little one stimulated and even comes with a built in bottle holder on the right side! The car starts up with a plastic teething key and the dashboard of the car removes so it can be

taken on car trips for ride along fun! The dash board has it’s own horn as well! The car even includes a mesh "trunk" so favorite toys can be packed along for the ride and a rear view mirror gives baby a view of themselves in the driving seat! The Jumbo Go Go Go car requiers 3"AA" batteries which are included and measures 21½"l x 22"w x 8"h.

You can find the Jumbo Go Go Go car over at BackToBasicsToys.com. I have never seen anything like this one before so I wouldn’t know where to tell you to begin looking for it locally!

    Lionel Pedal Train

    September 22nd, 2008 by admin
    Lionel Pedal Train

Today’s toy review is going to be one of those ridiculously overpriced toys that I just couldn’t help sharing because it’s just so darn cool! The Lionel Pedal Train from Back to Basics Toys is a pedal train that looks so intricate and so real when compared to those steam engine trains that just about every kid out there would be screaming for one. Of course you need to have a spare $320 to grab your own pedal train and i’m not entirely sure how worth it it would be to drop $320 on a pedal train that can only hold your child for four years but hey, if you’ve got it, flaunt it right? The Lionel Pedal Train has all steel construction, adjustable pedals, a chrome bell, realistic train sounds, a

padded seat and a gorgeous paint job of orange and a purplish blue. It reminds me of the ride on rocket ships and trains you find outside big retail toy stores; however, without the germs and dirt you find on those community shared ride-on’s. The maximum capacity for the Lionel pedal train is 100lbs so no testing this one for mom and dad! The train requires 2 "AA" batteries, measures 16-19" from seat to pedal and is recommended for ages 2-6yrs. The actual train measures 46"l x 18"w x 25"h and weighs 39lbs.

You can find the Lionel Pedal Train over at BackToBasicsToys.com. I have never seen a pedal train before at any retail store so this is a first for me!

Chomp and Clack Wooden Alligator Walker

      September 8th, 2008 by admin
Chomp and Clack Wooden Alligator Walker

Walking toys are extremely important for encouraging toddlers to get on their own two feet and get moving! A great way to help encourage movement with walking toys is to get an interactive walking toy such as the Chomp and Clack Wooden Alligator Walker. The best feature on the Chomp and Clack Wooden Alligator Walker is not how absolutely adorable it is but the rubber wrapped wheels which help toddlers keep moving without falling down because there is no grip on the wheels! So many walking toys come without rubber grips on their tires causing falls and bitten lips! The Chomp and Clack Wooden Alligator Walker features three clacking

alligators that chomp down their teeth as the walker moves keeping toddlers laughing as they move. The walker also features three spinning bug beads and colorfully painted fish on each of the rubber wrapped wheels. This walker measures 15 1/2 " high and weighs 6lbs, it is recommended for children ages 1yr+.

You can find the Chomp and Clack Wooden Alligator Walker over at Back To Basics Toys.

        Playskool Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur

        July 28th, 2008 by admin
        Playskool Kota My Triceratops Dinosaur

You have, no doubt, seen the anamatronic horses out there that children can pet and feed; however, Playskool has created an anamatronic toy aimed more at little boys! Kota the triceratops is an amazing dinosaur that stands at over three feet tall! Kota not only looks like a real baby triceratops but he also has realistic sounds and movements. Kota responds to your child’s voice with either roaring or laughing and he expresses himself with his tail, head, eye, mouth and horn movements! This adorable triceratops acts just like the Butterscotch pony display that many of you may have seen on display in retail stores, only this time he’s more boyish!
        Personalized Sweetest Day Gifts

Kota also plays four different adventure themed tunes which make pretend play even more fun! Kota also has a volume control switch so if he gets a little loud you can control the volume! The maximum weight for Kota is 60lbs and he is recommended for children aged 36 months to 5 yrs. Kota requires 6 D batteries and he comes with a leafy snack and an instruction booklet!

Kota is not yet available in stores; however, he is scheduled to be released at Amazon.com on October 15th 2008 and he ships with free shipping from Amazon’s store! You can try to locate this one in your local stores; however, they are sure to sell out quickly!

          Bugabike

          July 14th, 2008 by admin
          Bugabike

Today’s toy review is a recommendation from Nathalie and is a really cool idea for younger children who are having trouble grasping the balance aspect of bike riding. The Bugabike is a bike that is a bike without pedals so your child can focus more on the balancing aspect of bike riding before they tackle the whole enchilada! Enabling a child to learn how to control their bike before giving them the ability to somewhere rather quickly with it is a great idea and one akin to driving lessons for teens. The Bugabike is already a huge hit in Europe; however, it is just now making it’s appearance in the US and it’s already a huge hit! The Bugabike is made from Birch Polywood and

has real tires just like any other bike. The Bugabike also has rubber hand grips to make sure your child has a good grip as they endeavour on their bike riding lesson! The Bugabike is pretty light at 8lbs and it is compact enough to take anywhere with you in the trunk of your car. Bugabikes also come with a three year warranty and is recommended for children ages 2 to 6yrs.

The BugaBike is available from their official website at Bugabike.com or you can pick it up from Amazon.com and get free shipping! There are a variety of Bugabike’s available; however, this is the most affordable!
