The Melissa & Doug See & Spell jigsaw puzzles are the ideal way to help your kids aged 4 to 7 to not only learn to pair words with pictures but also to help them to learn how to spell the words pictured in each illustration. Each puzzle piece depicts an image of the object being spelled to the left with space for the correct letters to spell the object to the right. All of the letters needed come in a neat tray designed to also hold each Melissa & Doug See & Spell puzzle without causing any mess and helping to prevent lost pieces! Each of the puzzle boards features a three or four letter word to help keep little ones focused and achieve more independence in their spelling efforts! This set comes with sixteen individual puzzle boards and fifty individual wooden letters that fit directly in to each puzzle board.
