When I was asked to review OpenACircle on Kidazy I was hesitant, after all an online meeting place isn’t exactly the type of thing I would recommend to a parent for their child; however, after reviewing the software tonight I would most certainly recommend OpenACircle to a parent who works by telecommuting or even one who runs their own company and manages employees virtually.

Open a Circle is a free online collaboration meeting place where you can sign up and once inside you have access to a dashboard which serves to remind you of meeting invitations, present you with a calendar and allow you to keep track of your current connections. Signing up to the meeting place itself is easy and again I will reiterate FREE, you simply provide your e-mail and set a password and you are all set! The first time you log in to the service you will be prompted to set up your profile and create your “circle” where you can invite your friends to keep in contact with them and set up meetings together.

OpenACircle allows you to both set up your own “circles” as well as join existing circles where existing Open a Circle members can invite you to collaborate with them on projects. You can even share files through the system! If you’re worrying about keeping on top of a new program don’t because Open a Circle allows you to go through a variety of tutorials which will take you step by step through every aspect of the program and if you still have questions you can contact them for advanced support!

If, after using Open a Circle for a while you decide that you utilize them so much that you require more storage (more than 1GB), access to more than 3 collaboration circles or access to more than 20 members in your circles you can upgrade your account! A premium account which bumps you up to 10GB of storage, 10 collaboration circles and 50 members per circle and runs at a measly $9.95 a month or if you feel that 50GB of storage is necessary, or you require 50 collaboration circles with up to 500 members per circle you can get a Pro account for $29.95 a month!

While OpenACircle might not be a product for kids it is definitely a product for entrepreneur mom and dad’s out there who are looking for a way to keep in touch with co-workers or even other entrepreneurs in the same niche!
