Counting Cookies is an educational toy from Learning Resources. Counting Cookies is a learning to count toy consists of a hard plastic cookie jar, appropriately labeled "Cookies" and ten individual cookies. Each cookie in the set has a certain number of chocolate candy pieces on top (1-10) and the appropriate number written on the bottom of the cookie. These cookies are made of soft plastic and intended to teach even the youngest child to count by identifying how many pieces of candy are on top of the cookie. Each cookie measures two inches across and the jar measures 5.1" x 10.1" x 10.2" and weighs 1.1 lbs making it light enough to carry around.

This counting toy is recommended for children aged 36 months and up and is also a great toy for learning disabled children as well as special needs children. While some parents may get hung up on the cookie factor, I’m a firm believer in all things in moderation and don’t buy in to the Cookie Monster ban or any of that jazz.
