As I have mentioned in the past organic toys seem to be one of the most requested toys here at Kidazy, simply because of the increased concern for children’s safety especially following the lead scare of this past year. Cuddle Bunny is a gorgeous bunny made from 100% organic cotton which is safe, non-toxic and has been made in to an heirloom quality toy that will really withstand playing. To celebrate the 50th anniversary The Smurfs creators have released a Smurfs 50th anniversary plush with sound and a collector figure! This is not only a great collectors piece for older Smurf’s fans to add to their collection but it is also a great toy for children who love watching those Smurfs reruns on Boomerang! This adorable smurf plush sings the Smurfs theme song and has a golden seal on his foot. Every baby has one plush animal that they latch on to as an infant carry through their childhood with them as an icon of safety and love. With the increased concern with toy safety and quality these days more and more parents are looking for organic and eco-friendly toys that not only provide their child with a companion but a safe companion. I am always excited to come across handmade toys as well as toys that break the norm so when I was contacted by Tedde.com to review one of their bears I didn’t hesitate at the chance to check out one of these reinvented teddybears…or should I say Tedde-bears! Tedde is an online store that specializes in recreating the teddybear, taking it from the mass produced toy that it is now back to the handmade with love toy that it used to be. I received one Chubbtwins bear to review and while it is not necessarily a toy I would give to a young child (there is a button sewn to the base of the bear with "Tedde"’s logo sewn on) I think it’s an absolutely

adorable and unique toy for an older child or just a teddybear collector. The Chubbtwins (they come in a pair) are a limited edition bear hand crafted from felt, polyester fiberfill and dried grain with embroidered features. My Tedde arrived in an unbleached muslin pouch (as all the Tedde’s do) and also came with a cute little heart embroidered with a star as well as (my favorite part) a croched cupcake! My Tedde bear also came with a $5 off coupon which is great for any collector who intends on collecting Tedde’s bears! These aren’t the cute fuzzy bears you’ve come to love but as my roommate said "they’re weird cute", they tug at your heartstrings with their funny little faces and off kilter shapes. There is quite a selection of Tedde’s to pick from so if the Chubbtwins aren’t for you take a look at the other Tedde’s, my personal favorite would have to be Julius.
