As you may have guessed by now, I am a huge fan of Radio Flyer toys, the reason being that they are chunky sturdy toys that seldom need to be returned for "problems" and are manufactured by a trusted company that has been around for eons. This trike by Radio Flyer is called the Radio Flyer #79 Big Flyer. The big flyer trike is ideal for children aged 3 – 7yrs and really fits in with the "big kid" longing that younger children have, you know the "i’m not a baby anymore I don’t want baby toys" thing that kids seem to catch between 3-7. This trike features a racing pennant which is there for safety but it also makes kids feel "cool" as they ride through the neighborhood.

This trike also features chrome handlebars, realistic gauges, molded hand grips, a 3-position adjustable seat, and wide rear tires for great gripping ability! The trike weighs 16 lbs and measures 29" x 23" x 23" and really does make the best transitional bike for kids who aren’t quite ready for a two wheeler or who simply want a three wheeler because "all my friends have one," but the great thing about this one is that your child can still feel like a growing child even while riding a trike!
I found this trike directly through RedWagons.com and usually prefer to pick Radio Flyer products up directly through them because of the assurance that i’m getting what I pay for; however, if I find a much bigger discount I do trust Amazon.com for Radio Flyer products as well.
