Hasbro Candy Land Castle Game

Candyland is a must have game in any household with young children and it’s one of those favorites that tends to get dragged out of the closet every weekend for family time. Well Candyland has some changes and the Candyland Castle Game is here! Candyland Castle is a variation on the Candyland game theme and involves simple matching of shapes and colors. The game comes with the King Kancy Castle, brightly colored tokens and gingerbread kid gameboards. The game requires no assembly and is ready to play right out of the box which is always a plus for board games. Each board has spots for brightly colored tokens in different shapes

which are dropped in to the top of the Kandy Castle and sorted and retrieved by pulling on one of the three spires on the castle. Although the directions sound a little complex the game is really very simple to play and great for teaching colors and shapes to children ages 3 yrs+

You can find the Hasbro Candy Land Castle Game over at Amazon.com or simply pick yours up from your local toystore!

Tri-Words

Triwords is a great educational toy for younger children who have problems learning how to spell and form words. The purpose of Triwords is for players to race to form as many three letter words as they can. Each player draws 5 to 8 Tri-Tiles from the pile. Throw the Tri-Die to determine how many words to make from your tiles and the color that will give you the most points. The first player to finish flips the timer, putting the pressure on the other players. This game not only teaches children to spell and form words on their own but it also teaches them to think and act under pressure which si a skill that isn’t often taught to young children and should be! Tri Words is

recommended for children in grade 1 and up. The game comes with a timer, a special die, and 30 tricolor tiles. This game is often used in learning centers where children go to get tutored and engage in group learning activities.
