Having a large family isn’t always easy for children and learning to cooperate and get along with siblings can be one of the hardest lessons to learn. As well as being a sibling it can also be extremely difficult to adjust to school life where previously only children are them forced to share toys and cooperate with other children. Both of these examples are great opportunities for toys such as the Team Walker! The Team Walker is a game which incorporates up to four children at once promoting body conditioning and coordination as well as cooperation with other children! The Team Walker can be separated in to four individually colored walkers or it can be locked

together to create one multi-colored team building toy! The Team Walker has adjustable rubber straps and is flexible and portable making it a great toy to take to the park, to the playground at school or simply out to the driveway! Toys like the Team Walker are ideal for sets of multiples as well, parents of twins, triplets and quadruplets will find this a handy exercise for cooperating with siblings! The Team Walker measures 15 1/2" x 5" x 1" and is recommended for children ages 3yrs+. You can find the Team Walker over at KazooToys.com. I have found this one at various online retailers but never at a brick and mortar store! |

Of all the subjects that are taught in school one of the most challenging for both children and their parents to tackle is math. Learning Resources "Math Marks the Spot" is a wonderful game that allows children and their entire family to enjoy some math based fun as well as learn at the same time. The learning resources game can be played one of two ways, the first being where everyone plays with their marker chip, the dice are rolled and the first player to put their marker chip on the right answer wins that round! The second and most fun way to play this game is to have players touch the answers after rolling the dice. The game helps children practice

addition and subtraction, it does not allow for the practice of multiplication or division; however, I see no reason why you can’t stick a label over the top of a couple of the sides of the dice to replace an addition and subtraction with a multiplication or division choice! The game comes with one play mat, two number dice and one function dice. The vinyl mat measures 4′ x 5′ and the dice measure 5" and are made from soft foam. This game is recommended for children ages 5-8. You can find the Learning Resources Math Marks The Spot game over at Amazon.com! You may or may not be able to find this one in specialty retail stores local to you as well. |

Anyone who has played a board game with a younger child knows full well the amount of energy it gets them to sit still and play by the rules…that was until "What’s in Ned’s Head" came on to the market. "What’s in Ned’s Head" is a new innovation when it comes to games, not only because of the unique model of the game itself but also because of the excitement and the gross factor involved in playing it. The actual "game board" is a stuffed head with holes in the ears, nostrils and face that each player takes turns reaching in to to retrieve the item pictured on the card they drew from the pile. The object of the game is to reach blindly in to the "head" and pull out

the object pictured on the card. The objects inside the head are not only funny but some are just gross and sure to engage your 4 yr old! Some of the objects inside the head include "lost lunch" aka fake vomit, moldy cheese and a spider! This game is for 2-4 players and is recommended for children aged 4yrs+. While the objects and concept of the game may be gross at times it is a sure fire way to incude the entire family in some family fun time and we all know how hard that is these days! The plush head measures 17" and it comes with 15 fun objects to retrieve from inside! This game is created by Fundex and may prove challenging to find at most stores; however, you can find it for a shade under $25 over at Amazon.com ! |
