Getting children interested in math is always a pain; however, bringing learning games in to the household brings a whole new aspect to learning for children having trouble learning via traditional means. The Math Mat Challenge Game comes with an interactive talking floor mat and features four different number games intended to help your child become more proficient at various math skills. In one mode of the game kids listen to the equation and figure out the answer and step on the right answer, as scores get higher the game goes faster and kids are left scrambling for answers. The four games feature two different skill levels that reinforce numbers, counting,

addition and subtraction of numbers up to twenty. The mat that coems with the game measures 32" in diameter and requires 3 AA batteries which are not included. This game is recommended for children ages 4yrs+ and is also perfect for hyperactive children since it is an interactive game.
You can find the Math Mat Challenge Game over at Amazon.com sold via Learning Resources, you won’t find this game at local retail stores.

One of the most challenging games any child can learn to play is chess. Chess is a great game to encourage your child to play not only because of the strategy they need to learn to play it but also because it teaches them patience which is one life skill many children these days have very little experience with. The Phantom Force Self-Moving Electronic Chess Set is one of the most amazing chess set’s I have ever seen, this chess set can actually play itself or it can play your child! I love the fact that this chess set provides an electronic partner for your child that moves it’s own pieces simply because as a child I remember always looking for someone to play my games

|
|
with me and now your child doesn’t have to search any more! The Phantom Force Self-Moving Electronic Chess Set allows your child to enter his/her move in to the board and they can watch their own piece move as well! This board has 136 levels with 120 levels for playing and 16 levels for analysis so your child can learn more about chess strategy! This board also saves games in to it’s memory and sets itself up automatically! This chess game also comes with Spanish, English and French spoken language.
You can find the Phantom Force Self-Moving Electronic Chess Set over at Amazon.com. You can find other electronic chess sets at local big name toy stores; however, I have never seen this one in a local retail store to date.
