the same time! The greatest part about this toy is that it makes for fun learning for the whole family, while the toy itself is only recommended for children ages 5yrs+ because of smaller parts it is also fun for younger children who hear and repeat the facts they learn!

Today’s toy is another Star Wars lover’s dream! To be perfectly honest I have never much been in to Star Wars; however, the toys that have spun off from the movies really are something to behold for grownups and kids alike! What Star Wars lover (or non Star Wars lover for that matter) wouldn’t love to get their hands on their very own droid? Well Hasbro (I know, another big name company) has come out with the Star Wars Interactive R2D2 Astromech Droid Robot and right now you can get it at a $45 savings from Amazon! This amazing droid robot really obeys your commands and knows fourty of them! Your child can grab his attention by saying "Hey

R2!" and then tell him the desired command, it really is like having your own droid! R2 even remembers other Star Wars characters and when asked about them he will spit out a different response for each name! R2 can also move on his own, turn his front beam on and off and playing a secret message when you follow the proper voice commands! R2 also has a game mode in which he will play games, spin around, dance and play music for your child, he also features a room guard function so your child can have their very own door guard! R2 is recommended for children ages 8yrs+ because he is a slightly more complex toy, he measures 13.2 x 13.2 x 17.8 inches and weighs 25lbs!
You can find the Star Wars Interactive R2D2 Astromech Droid Robot over at Amazon.com. I have never seen these in local stores before!

As most of you know I try to stay away from big brand names when I scout out cool toys for kids; however, there are occasions when the value of a toy far outweighs the fact that it’s a big brand name toy and such is the case with the Fisher Price Fun 2 Learn Computer Cool School. This amazing set caught my eye initially when I saw it on Amazon for almost half price! This set comes with a kid friendly keyboard, writing tablet, stylus pen, and software which will help your preschoolers as well as your learning disabled children learn skills they need for school! Each software that comes with and can be purchased for this system has five different learning centers and

one field trip activity. Learning centers include reading, writing, math, art / music and science. Each software allows children to print out reward certificates and supplemental worksheet activities. This system is fast and easy to hook up to your home PC, using a USB cable and the games are easy to use with simple walk through instructions by friendly cartoon characters. The Fisher Price Fun 2 Learn Computer Cool School is recommended for children ages 3yrs+.
You can find the Fisher Price Fun 2 Learn Computer Cool School over at Amazon.com for almost half of it’s original price or you can check your local Target store; however, keep in mind that this system costs you almost $20 extra at Target!

If you have an animal lover in your home then the WowWee Alive Plush Robotic Toy’s are a great choice come gifting time! The WowWee Alive Lion Cub featured above has to be my favorite of all of the robotic plush toys they have because it really is the cutest. The lion cub has realistic fur with realistic markings and when he is petted he responds to your touch. The lion cub will open and close his eyes and mouth and he makes realistic lion cub noises. The lion cub will go in to sleep mode when he’s left for more than five minutes, snoring for five minutes before powering himself down so you don’t have to worry about draining batteries or those noisy

toys that go on forever (anyone remember that dog that yip and flip and just go on forever?) This realistic lion cub will respond to being picked up by the scruff of his neck just like a real lion cub will do and his legs will go limp. The lion cub comes with a birth certificate and measures 16" long. The lion cub is powered by 4 "AA" batteries which are included with him on purchase and he is recommended for children ages 3 yrs+
You can find the WowWee Alive toys at your local mega toystore, or if you store is not yet carrying the WowWee Alive robotic toys you can grab yours over at Amazon.com!
