The LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer For Kids Ages 4 – 9 Years

The LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer is scheduled to be released on August 25th and the hype about this LeapFrog LeapPad tablet has been unbelievable already! This Leapfrog Leapster big sibling is already available for pre-order and at this price this LeapFrog learning product is not expected to stay in stock long once it is released! Market predictors indicate that the LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer is the next big toy for the 2011 holiday season. The LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer features games that automatically adjust to each individual child’s needs to keep up with their learning pace without placing undue stress on a child who may learn at a slower rate than an older sibling. This great hand held learning game has over 100 games and apps to make sure that little minds stay interested in their curriculum. Not only does the LeapFrog LeapPad Explorer offer a wide variety of games but it also offers a built in camera and video recorder so children can grow creatively as they point and shoot and create their own artistic projects too. Leapfrog L-max

The Leapfrog Leapster L-Max learning game system comes in both pink and gray/blue to suit both sexes and has been raved about by parents since it’s release. The purpose of the Leapster L-Max is to replace those brain rotting games that children are currently playing on their handheld video game systems with games that stimulate their brains and increase their intelligence by teaching them things that they would otherwise be learning in school but disguising them as "fun". With this handheld gaming system kids are learning letters, numbers, reasoning and a number of other life skills in the guise of a fun game with

popular characters such as Dora and the crew from Madagascar. The Leapster L-Max is recommended for kids aged 4-10 and has multiple skill levels. The Leapster also plugs in to the TV so kids can play the games and watch the results of their actions as they play out on the TV screen. The Leapster has many functions and is also shaped perfectly for little hands so kids don’t get uncomfortable holding it for long car trips. The Leapster L-Max also requires 4 AA batteries which are not included. The Leapster does, however, include an interactive touch screen and pen.

The games for the Leapster L-Max are sold seperately and come in a variety of skill levels as well as a variety of skill niches so parents can pick games based on their individual child’s needs. Games for the L-Max run at approximately $20-30 a piece and can be purchased from most larger toy stores.

LeapFrog Fridge Phonics® Magnetic Set
Leapfrog is top of the market in educational toys, specifically in teaching children how to read. The Leapfrog Fridge Phonics Magnet Set is a set of 26 magnetic letters and one magnetic letter reader which takes three AAA batteries. The battery reader sticks on to the fridge and the magnetic letters plug in to the letter reader. The magnetic letter reader comes with a switch with “off” “soft” and “loud” feature allowing parents to control the volume of the phonetic sounder. Once plugged in to the letter reader magnetic letters are sounded out phonetically teaching children to sound out letters and assisting in reading. The
Wards Kids
Leapfrog Fridge Phonics Magnetic set assists children with speech development and is recommended for children ages 2 and up. The Magnetic letters are big and bright as well as easy for little children’s fingers to grasp and play with on the fridge. Not only are the letters useful in speech development but they are also useful in word development allowing children to build their own words on the fridge front with the individual letters.

Leapfrog products are available at most toy stores locally but they are also available through ToysRUS.com and Amazon.com. I purchased these through Amazon.com as a gift because of the price break they offer but you may also find them cheaper elsewhere.
