As the last product in the Earth day week of products today’s featured toy is a memory game called the "Life on Earth Memory Game." As with all memory games the same principles apply, trying to find a matching pair of cards by remembering the placement of each image when they are turned face down but this particular game of memory has amazing illustrations on each card. Unlike the princess matching game featuered last year this memory game does not have cheaply made matching cards that need to be torn apart, the cards are sturdy enough to uphold to a frantic game of memory and they do not require being torn apart before being able to

The Life on Earth Memory Game features not only beautiful illustrations but it also features unusual illustrations of animals and plants your child may not have been exposed to in the past such as the dragon fly, nautilus and cornsnake! This game is recommended for children aged 5 and up and was made in China; however, it has passed/exceeded the specifications of European and American toy safety standards!
This game may be available from your local Target; however our Target was out of stock so as usual I turned to trusty Amazon and found this one in stock for only $0.31 cents more. I urge you to look around at your local toystores for this one unless you are already making an Amazon purchase that qualifies you for free shipping, since the cost on this game is so low it doesn’t qualify for free shipping by itself.

In Keeping with the up coming Earth Day trend today’s toy is the Inflatable Labeling Globe from Learning Resources. The Inflatable Labeling Globe caught my eye, not only because it’s cheap, but also because it’s a great learning aid for children and adults of all ages. The Inflatable Labeling Globe is 27" in diameter and has the continents and lines of latitude and longitude printed on it, country names etc are left off so that everyone can have a turn at finding and labeling their own country! Not only can countries be labelled but this globe can also have continents labelled, oceans, trade routes, landmarks, cities and tons more! All of the above can be written on

the globe with a dry erase marker and erased again for next time to encourage learning through memorization. The Inflatable Labeling Globe also comes with a hang tab and string for hanging the globe for easier teaching use. The globe also features a repair kit just in case things get a little out of hand and the globe gets pierced somehow.

This camera is available from the Disney store and while I usually stray away from big name brand toys as much as possible I do have a weak spot for the Disney store being a HUGE Disney fan. The Disney Store online usually has some great coupon codes and sales going on as well which will usually save you between 10-40% off your purchases.
