LEGO Star Destroyer

You should know by now that I love love love Legos! I particularly love the large Lego playsets that not only recreate items or scenes from movie favorites but also Lego sets that are so large that they encourage interactive family experiences. The Lego Star Destroyer is by far my favorite, albeit most expensive, Lego item from the Star Wars movies. The set itself is absolutely huge and will not only keep your child busy for weeks on end but it will also illicit them to ask you for help and encourage time together as a family. This set inclusives an exclusive mini-model of the Rebel Blockade Runner as an extra bonus but the initial set itself comes with

3,104 pieces and is an ultimate collectors piece! The finished Destroyer is over 3 feet long and is the biggest Lego Star Wars whip to date! Due to the size of the pieces of this set it is not recommended for children under 3yrs.

You can find the LEGO Star Destroyer over at Amazon.com. I have not found this one at local retail stores because it is so expensive!

While browsing ETSY today I came across a toy that was not only absolutely adorable and fun but it also makes for great decor for even thr youngest childs bedroom! These personalized soft baby blocks are absolutely adorable and fun to play with for any little one! Filled with soft stuffing the blocks are perfect for little hands to build with. The blocks are all handmade and will be personalized with your child’s first AND middle names to make them even more special to your little one. The blocks are all

Lego Make & Create Eiffel Tower 1:300

Lego is just an amazing toy for any child and you all should know by now from previous entries that Lego isn’t just fun for children it’s fun for parents and children to do together as well when it comes in big kits like this. The Lego Make & Create Eiffel Tower 1:300 is a great kit for children to do with family or even as a challenge on their own. Often times mom’s write to me asking for projects or toys that I recommend for fathers to do with their children and I never fail to recommend Legos. This particular Lego’s set not only allows for family fun, coordination building, silent play, and direction following skills but it also offers an opportunity to teach your children about

foreign wonders of the world! The Eiffel tower model, when finished stands at more than 3 1/2 feet tall (built 1:300 scale) it has 3,428 pieces and is based on original blueprints of the actial Eiffel Tower! Due to the complication of this piece is it recommended for children/teens 16yrs+ HOWEVER, I really recommend it for children 7yrs+ who really have a love for Lego and the knowledge not to eat the pieces!

You can find the Lego Make & Create Eiffel Tower 1:300 set over at Amazon.com. I have not been able to find these sets locally as of yet; however, I haven’t had the chance to do too much searching yet!

Hydrodynamic Deluxe Building Set

The Hydrodynamic Deluxe Building Set might be a little more than you’re used to spending on a building kit for your kids but the thing about this set is that is so amazingly different you’ll find yourself enraptured by it as well! The Hydrodynamic Deluxe Building Set is a 1/87 scale realistic hydrodynamic plant that uses working tanks, pipes, valves and an electric pump. This set is perfect for the science lover in your family, it allows your child to build their own hydrodynamic plant and see it in action, adjusting the flow of water using the valves. This plant can be designed any way your little scientist pleases and really works with water so it’s not just one of those

models that doesn’t work and leaves your child bored after the thing is built! This set is perfect for science fair ideas and is recommended for children in middle and high school! It is definitely not recommended for children under 3yrs because of the small pieces.

You can find Hydrodynamic Deluxe Building Set over at Amazon.com. I have not seen this set anywhere else locally.
