Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi is a parental crutch that every parent may find themselves turning to at some point in their child’s development. While the title of this book still invokes snickers from fully grown adults it still proves to be a fan favorite for children everywhere. The aim of "Everyone Poops" is simply to explain that everyone, no matter whether they’re a human child or an elephant, has the need to poop. While the book isn’t very scientific in it’s explanation simply saying "all living things eat, so everyone poops", it answers questions for the very young children out there who find the subject of poop simply fascinating. I would not recommend this book

for educational purposes; however, I do think it’s an important book for children to read when they’re first getting in to that "potty" phase where anything and everything to do with potty time is fascinating to them. That said, if you have a child who is enraptured by poop, this is the book for you! You can find Everyone Poops by Taro Gomi over at Amazon.com or you can find this one at almost any bookstore local to you! Keep an eye out for the other My Body Science Series books as well! |
