The Land of Nod website gets my kudos for the most inventive and simple idea for children, the I’m Not Bored Anymore Art Jar. Although this plastic jar looks simple it’s actually worth the money when you take a look at the amount of arts and craft supplies combined inside. This jumbo plastic jar is perfect for arts and crafts projects both in the classroom and out and absolutely wonderful for rainy day projects! The I’m Not Bored Anymore Art Jar contains art supplies like googly eyes, pom-poms, pipe cleaners, glue pens, construction paper, wavy scissors, wooden buttons, spools, beads, craft sticks, sequins glitter and more! With a child’s

imagination this huge plastic jar is a paradise of imaginative projects and hours and hours of play! Because of the inclusion of glue and scissors as well as smaller sparkles etc this art jar isn’t recommended for children under 8.
The I’m Not Bored Anymore Art Jar is made by LandOfNod.com for LandofNod.com so you won’t find this specific one anywhere else, it is possible to build your own art jar; however for $29 you’d be hard pressed to find everything that comes in this jar but take a look at a dollar store near you and you might be pleasantly surprised!

The colorful art center from PoshTots.com offers a multi-use art center for children on all ages. The art center comes with a stool decorated in primary colors, an easel with pain pot holders as well as a paper roll holder and attached to the side of the easel station there is a set of shelves to store paintbrushes, paint and crayons etc. The paper holder is an absolute blessing as it prevents stacks of unruley paper taking over the house as well as allowing children to be more independant with their painting projects without having to call for mom every few minutes to come and set up a new sheet of paper. The Art Activity Desk is great for kids

who love to paint, draw or color. The easel section of the art activity desk also folds flat to create a desktop for kids to use for modeling or homework use as well as providing more storage space for bits and pieces that would otherwise end up scattered around the room. The desk itself measures 35.5"W x 20"D x 40"H and it is constructed of hardwood, metalboard, hardboard and please note that some assembly will be required.
This item is child safe and comes with a safe paper cutter, it also features a metal easel face to allow use of magnets (I like the magnetic letters myself), the easel face can also be drawn on and wiped clean, the shelves are adjustable, there is extra storage in the stool AND the roll of paper is included!
