We have all been there, the days when someone, perhaps even ourselves, thinks it’s a good idea to crack open those paints on the new dining table for a little painting fun. While painting is a fun and worthwhile activity for families and kids it is not always a nice activity for the dining table or whoever has to clean up afterwards! Enter the Non-Spill Paint Pots & Brushes Set! Not only is this set a great idea for the house it’s a great idea for your preschool, kindergarten and craft groups too! These 3 1/2" non-spill pots have colored caps with matching brush handles and safety lids that make sure that if that paint pot does fall over it doesn’t leave that terrible mess behind!

I absolutely love crafty and artsy toys but I especially love those that encourage children and their families to enjoy and explore nature. In this day and age we spend an insane amount of time locked behind closed doors doing nothing but watching television and playing video games and it’s not just our children who are to blame, we are all just as guilty of doing the very same thing. If you have a crafty kid who loves to play with Play-Doh and modelling clay then you might just be tired of replacing it or having to rewet it when it gets old and dry and starts to crack…not to mention those little balls of clay you find in the carpet weeks later. While browsing through ETSY today I found a product that I never even knew existed before, modelling beeswax! Beeswax acts pretty much just like modelling clay BUT it doesn’t dry out! Starting out as a solid beeswax quickly softens in the warmth of your hands, in NEVER dries out or splits and apparently it smells pretty darn good as well! around 20-25g each. The colors included are earth, eater, sun, meadow and bloom (red). Since the beeswax is made from pure local beeswax, organic oil, non toxic pigment and of course a little love in each block. Even though the beeswax isn’t toxic you don’t want to let your little one eat this! These blocks each come individually packed in a glass lid tin as well so storage is a cinche!
