With the holidays barrelling in to us at full force it’s that time of year again to pull out all the holiday movies and storybooks. Christmas is one of my favorite holidays and this wonderful book "Drummer Boy" by Loren Long is a wonderful addition to any child’s Christmas season bookshelf! Not only does Loren Long portray a wonderful tale of a tin soldier but she also incorporates some of the most amazing art work which will capture your child’s heart and leave them begging for more. the little drummer boy finds himself accidentally thrown in to the trash and so he begins his journey of heart warming for the many creatures he meets until he finally finds himself at the manger of a new baby, playing his drum. This book is recommended for children ages 4-8yrs; however, it makes a great family story for the Christmas season!
